guys the university has been shut on the 6th and 7th due to weather conditions. I think it is only natural to expect a slight delay in result........

I have never posted before , I am from Bangalore . I was also interviewed on 23rd December and was told that the results will be out in 2-3 weeks . Do you guys have any idea about the acceptance rate after ? Just a little anxious because Krannert is on the top of my list.

Hi Sonu,

I honestly think you should not get caught up on random facts and figures like acceptance rate and stuff. You liked the college and you applied. If they like you, they will take you :P

Due to the recent weather problem, I'm sure no one can comment certainly on the date the results will be announced. We have to wait.
And yes I am as much or maybe more anxious about Krannert, as its my top coll....

I know that the univ is closed for students but not really sure whether the adcom is working or not.. coz i had an interview scheduled for today (for another university located at an equally cold if not colder location) and the interviewer mailed me saying that the interview process is on and I should not assume that they are closed :P

Hi,
I have submitted my form on 12 Jan 2014, But I am worried about official transcripts. As the website says it must reach to Purdue before the deadline and now in noway my official transcripts can reach to Purdue on or before 15 Jan. what shall I do so that my application should be considered for R2 ( 15 jan round).

Hi,
pardon me for my lack of knowledge but what is the one year STEM program and whats its relation to an MBA program.. btw, when did you get that mail? coz most of the ppl on the forum are still waiting eagerly for the results...

When did you get the mail?

One year STEM program is focused for TECH students...this is the first year for the program so its difficult to say how good it is...try and ask alums if they have any idea...

I too just now got a mail from Purdue asking me to consider the one year STEM program. They also said that if I dont want to be considered, then they will evaluate my profile further for the 2 year full time MBA.

As a matter of fact, I do not have much interest in technology or improving technology, but to be strategic consultant and in the long term involve myself in mergers and acquisitions and that sort of stuff.

I am sure the STEM MBA is for people interested in hardcore technology and improving technologies by leading a team of high profiled technical analysts and making decisions about how to implement.
