Ya I put Delhi as my first option and Mumbai as second. Surprised how I didnt get Delhi, it's the capital city of India.

But it is much smaller than Mumbai isn't it?
Sorry, I don't know India, I just checked population number.

Here in Brazil the capital is much smaller than Sao Paulo, we can't compare them...

Apologies if this has been discussed before, but does anyone know the interview acceptance rate? or have an estimation?

Thanks!

20-25% applicant acceptance rate and 50-60% invite rate would imply 40% interview acceptance rate.

Do all referees get contacted? Mine haven't received anything!

My referee got the reference verification check email 5 days after interview decision date. He used personal email so he sent a photo of his business card for verification (it is requested if referee haven't used business email).

The last page of reference form asks to rate the candidate.
As per the example given on that page 1 = Low. However, against each quality 1 is written as high.
So, which represents high 1 or 5 ?

Quote:

Ratings

Please rate the applicant, comparing them with other members of his or her peer group, on the qualities listed below using the following scoring system:

1 = Low 3 = Average 5 = High

Intellectual or academic ability
1 (High) 2 3 4 5 (Low) Not observed

Quantitative skills
1 (High) 2 3 4 5 (Low) Not observed

Hi all,

Sorry to ask, but just wondering if you know of anyone whose referees weren't contacted? I don't believe either of mine have heard, so wondering if they only contact people with a personal e-mail address?

Hope interviews go well for those of you who have them pencilled in!

Both my referees were contacted on R1 and both had only their professional e-mails on my app.

Only one of my referees was contacted via email. Both used their professional emails to submit the references.

Can anyone give some perspective on Round 3 application for LBS, which is due in last week of Feb? Since LBS has 4 rounds of intakes, how does Round 3 compare with other rounds with respect to competitiveness of intakes. For US schools, Round 3 is generally discouraged, which would be at par with LBS Round 4. Is this also true of Round 3 application at LBS?
I am kind of confused if I should apply in Round 3.. any perspective would really help.
