Kellogg

You’re British, London remains somewhat open whatsoever

Treat yourself to a new experience

Am sure there are Kellogg alumni in London’s MC scene. The added American experience will bode well too given how connected London is to the USA

Congrats again in the admits!
I also really appreciate you updating the decision tracker

Kellogg is a fantastic program. By pure comparison it is a notch above LBS, at least by the competitiveness of admissions.

My biggest concern would be Coronavirus and getting a student visa and all that stuff. It is also a pain to relocate and leave your network behind only to be recruiting later.

We have a fe Kellogg alums and students on GMAT Club but I would probably encourage you reaching out to a few in London and asking for their advice. See what they would do and chances are they will open a door for an internship or perhaps give you a bit of caution about recruiting from afar....

Frankly, if you are looking to stay in London and not leverage your MBA to try diff geographies, LBS should be your choice. But if you truly want to value your MBA (by networking and working alongside people from different geographies), Kellogg is a no brainer as let’s be honest that the opportunities in US are much more broader, especially on the consulting side, both from an industry vertical and/or functional aspects. LBS will not place you in US while Kellogg can def place you in London, if you want that.

Thank you all for you amazing insight. With regards to leverages geographies, I find LBS to be somewhat more of an opportunity with regards to this aspect at only 8% of the class is British.

Also, with regards to experience, obviously it’s not completely comparable, but the term exchange may provide some international opportunity

Congrats on your admits!
With this hard time and the COVID-19 situation, I would suggest choosing the safer option and going with LBS.

Hi all, decided to go with LBS. With covid and the visa situation in the states, LBS was very attractive. Also through reaching out to recruiters around the world, outside of the states, LBSs reputation trumped kellogg ( I have a feeling this club may be Americacentric haha).

I appreciate all the help and comments!

 Too funny! I am sure the US is not very popular thanks to its commander in chief but congratulations on your decision and good luck with your next steps!
Awesome!!!
