Yes, just a time management thing more than bravery - application season for round 1 happened to fall within a busy work period with travel, and wanted to submit solid responses to essays in round 1 to two schools.

Straight after submitting started working on second round essays (Said/Oxford full-time MBA and Chicago Booth part-time MBA in London) (but only very draft- luckily INSEAD covered pretty much every topic other schools ask so have a good working version to start with!) with recommenders on alert that I may need them to complete additional recommendations.

One more week!

Not sure, but from what I have heard, the deadlines are adhered to so it is likely they will all be out today. Although a trickle is possible. I've still not heard.

Still waiting...they typically notify only via email, correct? Also, will they only be notifying in the affirmative, as in if we got an interview, or do they also send denials?

Yep email. From a friend I heard that it is notification for interview and rejections. Fingers crossed it will be an interview!

Does anyone know what percentage of applicants don't receive interviews?
Also, what rate of interviewed candidates get accepted?

its always in one email. Kazuaki - where did you here that some one has been invited. I have got invitations twice from LBS (even admitted but never went ahead...) and their process is always through a single email. if someone has recieved invitation, it means the invitations are sent and later tonight the rest will be sent a rejection.

According to last year's thread, invites keep flowing along with the rejections. Could you elaborate more on the "single email" ? Is it 1 email bcced to all or 1 email (without any personalization) sent sequentially or simultaneously to all - much like a marketing email ?
