Two typists P and Q work individually for 6 hours a day. What is the difference between the average number of pages typed per hour by person P on a single day and the average number of pages typed per hour by person Q on the single day?

(1) The typing speed of the person P is constant and is 10 pages per hour, whereas the typing speed of person Q is 19 pages per hour for initial three hours on the same day.

If you want a high quant score, you need to do more than just the OG.

Hi. MGMAT is better.
P.S. Keep in mind that Kaplan is the older edition (pre-Focus) since they stopped publishing a few years ago.

Hi all,

I have finished TTP quant done most of the verbal and trying to finish up the data insights section. My exam is in 5 days and I started taking mocks yesterday. I had already done 2 mocks prior (Official Mock 1 & 2) with scores of 565 (cold attempts) and 585 one month after. I have been getting very good results in TTP but my 2 mock attempts (Official Mock 3 & 4) have resulted in 575 and now 545. How is this possible? I can do the questions I get wrong for the most part when I redo them. Unfortunately, I missed Verbal on my most recent attempt and didn’t have time to finish, which completely tanked my score. Yesterday, it was DI that I completely messed up as I was distracted by a variety of things happening around me. Had to rush the last few DI questions because of time management as well.

I am starting to feel very disheartened and not sure what to do to be able to get 635 in the next 5 days. I have been working relentlessly for the past 3 months 8-9hours each day. If I do not get this score I can say goodbye to all my MBA plans this year. Someone please help

not really until I started taking the mocks, did most of the question of the days for the past 3-4 weels

otherwise mostly TTP as I really needed to study maths, had forgotten all these topics

DI is generally ok, I would get much higher if i didnt get most my DS wrong

TTP should be good for math. But nothing beats the official questions for Verbal. Given your timeline, I would not recommend deviating too much from your original plan, except for practicing a few more OG questions for RC and CR here on GMAT Club. Best of luck for your exam!

hey, before starting my gmat prep i gave an official practice test just to see where i stand without any prep i scored 355 very embarrassing ik (Q79, V60, DI64) other than facing time issues i did no understand what i had to do in half the verbal questions it was tough same same goes for DI i couldnt complete the questions on time and did a lot of errors. i have to take the official test in july are there any hopes i can score 650-700+ if i start my prep now
