Thanks for creating the thread.
I am planning to apply to WHU (Mar'17) and ESMT (Jan'17).
Unlike ESMT, i cant find more details about WHU. How do you rate WHU against ESMT?

ESMT is good only if you want to go in IT. Everything else is better in WHU .
Search on Linkedin ,you will find the placement stats.
People in Germany rate WHU after MBS. ESMT works better for people who have technology experience of 5-10
years and want to again go back in IT. These experienced folks draw a higher salary and that's the reason
why ESMT is in the FT ranking.

1. How much does these universities cost ? (tuition fee + living expenses + misc.)
2. What are the chances of international placement from these universities? In case , if I would like to return to India after few years (5-8) what are the options from a German B-School ?

In Germany, an individual's experience and capabilites decide the placement - the school name does not make much difference (if you are from the top 3-4 schools).

1. You may get these details from the schools' websites.
2. If you want to relocate to india, one good option is to join a German firm who is entering / expanding in India. Search for the companies who are members of "Make In India Mittelstand (MIIM)" program.

How good is Frankfurt School of Finance and Management ? They have a very good placement record too.
Also, I need a suggestion guys. I have a score of 720 in GMAT, but I am confused about whether I should take the risk of going to the US or should I gamble by coming to Germany and then learn German. Or should I just play safe by looking at Australia and Canada ? Too confused right now !

Hello everyone,
I am looking forward to join a good MBA program at Germany. This is how my profile looks like:
1)GMAT Score: 670
2)Education : B.Tech(Chemical Engineering)
3)Work exp : 4.2 years as Junior Manager in steel plant
4)Six Sigma green belt certified
What are the potential options in Germany ? Is there a need to appear in IELTS/TOEFL ? And how good are my chances with this profle ?

Hi There,

I got admit from HHL Leipzig and Munich business School. You wrote that MBS is highly preferred but MBS doesnt secure any position in top 4 German B school. These 4 are Mannheim, ESMT, HHL, and WHU.

Can you please guide on what basis did you say that. Do you have any stats to show. I am in a dilemma to choose between MBS and HHL. I am more tilted towards HHL.

My Profile--> I have 4.5 years of working experience in consulting domain. I worked with Accenture and currently working for Deloitte. I want to go into Analytics after my MBA.

Hi Shehzade11,
You were inquiring about the Kira interview in WHU, i am wondering if you already had your interview. Please can you share your experience about how it went and what was asked.

Thanks

Congratulations.

A few queries, as I am currently doing my research on studying in Germany.

What was your GMAT score?
Did you opt for any financial assistance? Scholarships?

Best Wishes ahead.
Thanks
