were you guys filling up the entire 3 mins for a question??
3 mins is way too much to answer a question. The sweet spot for an effective answer is generally 1:30 mins. But you can go longer for questions that warrant that. For example, "Walk me through your resume" can be longer than that. But not all questions take that long. Of the seven questions that I faced, I think I crossed the 2 mins mark for two questions. But I also answered one question in under a minute (it was regarding some hobby). Also, McCombs' director of admissions said this in a session that you should not try to speak for a full 3 minutes just to fill that remaining time. If you think you have satisfactorily answered the asked question, submit that and move on to the next question.

Will there be any virtual interview with the adcom as well?
No. There will be no in-person interviews this time. Video assessment has replaced the in-person interviews this time.

For the video assessment, the email says we have one week to complete it. If I received the email on 19 Oct, does that mean the deadline is 25 Oct (i.e. counting 19 Oct as day 1) or 26 Oct?

Admissions connection has replaced just the last 5-10 mins of an in-person interview where candidate can ask the interviewer any school related questions. In my 15 admissions connection session I asked three questions.

But all applicants have to submit a video assessment right? Or is that only by invitation like the interview?

Yes. You have to send official scores to all schools you apply to.

Three questions that I asked were specific to my application so I am sure your questions will be different from mine.
Video assessment this time is mandatory for all applicants if they want to be considered for the admission. It is not by invite. Whosoever has submitted the application before the deadline will be sent a link to submit their video assessment via the Kira Talent platform.
Best of luck to you.

Oh. I thought that was upon admission

Some programs have different rules these days.
Some ask for PDF of a score report at the point of submitting your app (which they are confusing and vague what the heck to do with GMAT onlin that does not have a PDF - you basically screenshot it)
Some ask for official scores by interview and some within a certain period of time after admission.

Traditionally, the scores were wanted at application timeframe. I would say if this is a school you are serious and really eager about, submit a score report. This signals to the school that you did not cheap out and were willing to spend $12-50 on the report and that you are serious. It won't get you by itself but it does indicate a higher level of commitment as opposed to "i may as well try". May help and divert from WL I guess 🤷‍♂️ but mostly it is probably a mental thing that you have done everything you could to improve your chances

Take the time on which you received the email as the point of intimation and then calculate 7*24 hours from that point onwards. The result you get is the answer to your query. Good luck.
