Congrats to all those who got their admits today and all the best to those who have been waitlisted.
Many of you have questions regarding scholarship information. Generally, you will be informed of any scholarships when you get the call and/or through the application portal where you see the admit decision/letter. If any scholarship information has not been mentioned, then you can assume that you have not been granted any scholarships. However, there's no reason to get disheartened. Especially if you are deserving, there are chances that scholarship funds may become available in further rounds and you may be granted something.
Hope that helps

Sudish, Thanks for this information. Do you know how common it is for scholarship funds to be awarded in later rounds? Frankly, I am feeling a bit disheartened since I have no idea how I can pay for an MBA w/o the help of a scholarship. It's daunting just to think about. I was really hoping for some money since I was accepted to a peer school + $$$. Frankly I would prefer mcdonough, but I'm just not sure how financially viable it is. Also, I note the first deposit it due in February. In your experience, do admitted students learn about scholarship money before or after the deposit due date?
Thank for the info.
Hi,
I would say it is not uncommon to get a scholarship at a later point in time, from my personal experience of course. I was a Round 2 applicant and was admitted without any scholarship. I had to make a decision to accept the offer without knowing if I would receive a scholarship later. However, I made a choice anyway and was ecstatic to hear back from the admissions team after a few weeks of accepting the offer that I had been awarded "some" scholarship.
If you're pretty sure about attending McDonough, I would suggest you speak to financial institutions and try arranging for an education loan at your earliest. This is precisely what I did and helped me make my decision easier because I was able to secure a loan to cover my tuition.
Hope that helps! Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

Best,
