Jan: You are right that I dislike Senator Brandon, but just because I have not criticized the same failing in others doesn't' mean you can excuse the senator's offense.
If Murray and Jane are both sincere in what they say, then it can properly be concluded that they agree that
(A) Senator Brandon has accepted gifts from lobbyists
(B) It is wrong for politicians to accept gifts from lobbyists
(C) Jane's criticism of Senator Brandon is motivated only by personal dislike

Murray only objects to Jan's criticisim, but that does not mean the Murray also accepts that Senator Brandon has accepted gifts from lobbyists.
The argument given in the premises holds even if Murray believes that Brandon has not taken gifts.
So, I think B is the best

HE PARAPHRASES JAN BY SAYING "YOU CLAIM". AFTER THAT WHATEVER MURRAY IS SAYING IS A REPETITION OF JANE'S WORDS.
BUT THEN MURRAY ACCEPTS THAT OTHER POLITICIAN HAVE DEFINITELY TAKEN GIFTS. "the fact that you deliberately avoid criticizing other politicians who have done"

Murray's thought on the subject has been not even told to the reader. He then accepts that other politician have taken gift but then again refuses to believe that senator brandon has taken gift, because he uses the word "accuse" which means attacking someone without evidence.
(B) It is wrong for politicians to accept gifts from lobbyists
WRONG:- No policy guidelines are mentioned about what is wrong or right.
(C) Jane's criticism of Senator Brandon is motivated only by personal dislike
WRONG:- ALMOST CORRECT. The use of "ONLY" makes it a extreme option. We do not know that the reason is only personal dislike. It can be one of the many reasons why Jane hate Senator Bradon
(D) Senator Brandon should be criticized for accepting gifts from lobbyists
WRONG:- Firstly:- Murray says specifically :- "Senator brandon should not be critisized ". Secondly :-No rhyme or reason is given why Senator should be critisized. No where the argument states that politician who accept gift from lobbies should be critized. For all we know accepting gift if allowed under the law currently and that Jane and Murray are having an imaginary conversation in their office about what will happen in the future if accepting gift become a bad thing.
