Today, I took the GMAT and scored 720(Q47,V42). On seeing the score on screen, I got excited. I don't remember whether I clicked Accept or Reject button. I got the unofficial score printout at the test centre. Is the printout given only when the scores are accepted?

Hi ShreekanthAcharya, Welcome to the GMAT Club!

That is indeed a unique situation. As far as I know, the unofficial score sheet is only printed when the score is accepted. However, to be sure you can check online on mba.com website and reinstate the score if it has been cancelled. I think this can be done up to 72 hours post the test but I would suggest you to keep checking for finished exams and do it asap. The exam should appear within 12-24 hours on the landing page.

All the best!

Thanks. I just checked my MBA dot com profile and it has got updated with my latest test details. I can confirm that there is a "Cancel score" button enabled although I couldn't see the detailed score. I think that the cancel button will appear when the score is accepted. I hope that is the behaviour.

Glad to know that it is sorted!

However, I would still insist you call up GMAC once as this is a critical issue and I think you have a 72-hour window. A final confirmation won't hurt.

Also, GMAC will not answer calls on Sunday so you should be able to connect with them on Monday morning.

Can only agree with what has been said, I am 99.9% certain that there will be no printout if you cancel the test.

Thanks for the replies. I just got an email confirmation from GMAC that my score was accepted and that the official score report was under process. I even took the ESR to check my unofficial score. It turned out to be the same.
