Hi experts,

I am currently in my preparation for my second attempt at GMAT after previously scoring 650 (Q47, v34). I have been taking MGMAT mocks and my quant scores have been varying at around 40-44. Now I know that the manahttan mocks are tougher than the actual mocks, but I estimate that I'm at around a 46-47 on the real test based on my MGMAT scores. I need some tactics on how I can consistently start hitting 48+ as this can really boost my score. All help appreciated.

Hi buddy,

I am certainly not a quant pro, but maybe some of the following articles are of help:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/overview-of- ... l#p1630029
https://gmatclub.com/forum/how-to-impro ... l#p1116454

Furthermore, I am currently using Target Test Prep which I feel is helping me improve quite a bit.
If you want to check several programs for yourself, most highly rated Quant courses here on GmatClub offer a free trial period.

Regardless of how you proceed, I wish you all the best.

Regards,
Chris

Thanks for sharing the info. Some of these articles seem quite helpful. :)
I think the main problem I face is that I make way too many silly mistakes which really brings down my score. I somehow need to find a way to eliminate these silly errors.

I am afraid that silly mistakes are a quite common error among GMAT test takers.
However, I think that by identifing these erros you already took the first step towards preventing them.

Other than that, becoming familiar with the questions and concepts is another way to avoid the rocks and pitfalls the GMAT might throw at you. ;)

All the best,
Chris
