Hi all, I have started with my GMAT prep but struggling to juggle it with my full time job, I am to give GMAT in next 3 months and score ~740. Can anyone suggest me if leaving the job is a good idea or how else to focus with a clear mind and score that much? Thanks in advance!
It’s usually a pretty bad idea. If you quit, you either have a gap on your résumé or you will be unemployed when you apply. You will need letters of recommendation and other things. You’re expected to prep all having a job …. If you can take a leave for a bit so that you don’t have a gap on your résumé but most of us to GMAT while working

I agree with bb. If i may provide a suggestion, if it’s feasible to reschedule to give you more time to study (if your job is chaotic) I’d recommend getting that extra time since you’re aiming for a 740+. In retrospect i took about 6 months before attempting, but my logic was only to book the exam once i was prepped. If in case rescheduling isn’t feasible, developing a time table that takes into account your work timings and your free time, would help a ton! Try scheduling about 2 hours in the morning before work and 2 hours post work. Should help!
