Its ok, I got a 490 this time.. my first time was a 450 a month ago 😞

Does anyone know if LBS/Imperial accept re-taking the exam after their final MiM deadline? 😞

😬 sorry I don’t know. You can definitely try and I think they would be compelled to consider it…

my guess is that they’re averages quite a bit above where you are so I’m not confident if you have enough time to get up there. However, if your practice tests are indicating higher scores then you can use that as a guidance … my guess the averages are 650 or higher.

Yea, they are higher than 600 alright. I could appeal.. my practice show I can score 550 and overall I have improved a lot

I just need a bit more time to solidify some concepts and get to the score I need.

I want to congratulate everyone who is striving to beat the GMAT. It is not an easy task, specially for those who are working full time, have families, have gf/bf, and relationships with other people to maintain. It is easy to push people away and only focus on GMAT,GMAT, GMAT, but I want to remember everyone that it is simply a test, that needs to be learned, a pass to attain a top program, that will get you to a final goal in life, whatever that could be. We’ll keep fighting to obtain those goals.

Can you suggest me the most accurate mock tests series ( computer adaptive) ?
I gave one mock test but it was not accurate.. I would want to stick to a particular series

Outside the official ones, mgmat tends to be in the ballpark of decent

Took the test last week and got a 610, yet all my gmat prep tests are significantly higher (690-730). Not sure what happened

should I retake asap or wait a bit?

If you didn’t have repeats on your GMAT prep test and then I think you can retake pretty fast and pretty soon. This strategy of course depends on you taking GMAT prep test in a comfortable environment but if you have, then definitely don’t wait and retake.

We have had people improve their scores quite a bit by simply rescheduling a test and doing nothing for 10 days. I don’t recommend you do nothing but that’s what they did and it just worked so there are bad situations and bad days and just bad luck

Sure! Sounds like you may be ready. Just remember to take it one question at a time on the test and not worry about how are you doing because you will not be able to tell. I thought I was failing on verbal and did well. I thought I was doing well and quant and I did well so I clearly couldn’t tell 😂

If you find that you are lacking strength in terms of grammar, I would recommend getting the Manhattan Verbal foundations book or you can start with the free GMAT Club’s grammar book to get your grammar skills up… that is assuming you’re struggling with basic and medium grammar knowledge.

mgmat SC focuses more than medium and advanced grammar and assumes that you have basic grammar handled.

Any advice on going from a quant of 47 up to 50. And a verbal of 42 up to 45+ (for the record I miss only hard sentence correction questions and have never missed a reading comp or critical reasoning question)
