A consultant told me they generally think number score are more important than percentile.

I got 47/38 Q/V. Grammar and structure are poor. Not sure how to address that.

Did not prep with enough time due to work- a few chapters in Manhattan quant and verbal books (1/3) and a few dozen problems in the official guide

would like to get 735+. My issues are reviewing quant topics (been a while since college) and with verbal just bad at grammar. Got 100% of the reading comp but only about half the grammar

With a score like that on very little prep, do more official guide questions on gmatclub and keep an error log to identify common mistakes. I hear GMATClub tests are a ood addition for those aiming for Q50-51. Official guide is your best bet for Verbal. Get the ESR and see which section had the weakest percentile so you can improve on it.

Well they report breaks down “grammar” and “ arugment “

Argument fine 75% of the questions, but grammar was bad

TTP is good for concepts but you need enough time (6 months approx) to finish it and deal with official questions

TTP alone is not enough

For CR, use Manhattan prep official guide. TTP CR is too wordy and complicated but their SC is good

Nice I got 2 months 😂 thank you
If you already have a strong math background, you might not need TTP and might benefit from another provider with a shorter course or TTP might have a compressed version, not sure.

No, you have to pay for subscription. It helped improve by sc from 86th to 90th percentile and I guessed on the last 4 or 5 verbal questions so it probably is higher than that

Ah, ok sc 85% communication, 60% grammar. cr 100% analysis, 50% construction. sc 78th percentile cr 75th

It doesn’t look like percentiles get broken up in verbal by skill type, just sections.

But like how do we figure out what kind of problems are “communication” or “construction/plan”?

grammar SC problems are SC questions that have to do with grammar - pronouns, verb tense., parallelism etc. Communication is questions that have to do with meaning, diction and over style. You can filter for these questions (make sure to use Official guide only) on GMAT club and gain proficiency topic by topic.
