I agree its bad....but its not easy to write while working in office esp from a bulge bracket financial firm...."eyes are watching" in these companies....so as long as I get my message across its okay....

For those still waiting, the number is down right now to 435. I'll guess that some people fall off of the list due to issues with Kroll? Either way, that's three more seats for those anxiously waiting.

I do not believe there is a WL acceptance form. If you don't sign the decline form, they automatically put you on the WL.

Guys, how do you know which core group are you in? Will there be a confirmation email? Also, does anyone know if the textbook list is available?

Tenore thanks. I am hoping to hear back from NYU this week. I am not sure if NYU Stern will allow me to re-apply for Spring 09 before I hear the final status of my Fall 08 application. Does anyone know whether NYU sends out the application status to everyone or do they just leave some people hanging? When I looked at last years forum, it looks like the WLs just stopped posting on the forum.

corky, I am sure that NYU will send a final status for us waitlisters. It's just that they are taking forever....

You might want to talk to the admissions office and ask if you can apply for the spring semester now.

June 27: 108 admitted
June 27: First GMAT club member rejected (RCReddy)

July 13: 230 admitted (huge jump!)
July 22: 262 admitted
July 24: 288 admitted
July 25: 306 admitted
Aug 03: 420 admitted
Aug 09: Some waitlisted folks get in.
Aug 09: 440 admitted

Aug 20: Several reject notices went out.
