I just want to say that I'm really rooting for all of the people who haven't heard anything yet. There are somewhere around 80 spaces left and we have 18 people waiting for a response. I hope all 18 of you guys get in. Best of luck to everyone!

I was checking the 2007 Thread, and it seems all of the guys in that thread who got responses after July 30, got waitlisted. And of those, at least 2 of them actually got in a week or two later.. None of them got ding'ed or accepted right away...

So on the bright side, most of us still waiting will not get dinged right away. But on the other hand, we also probably will not get accepted outright either.

I also know that if I had to apply again, I am definitely not applying to weekend only - only 60 spots for that supposedly. https://gmatclub.com/forum/post347829.html#p347829

Langone Guys, need some help.

To do the pre-adm formalities, do I need to be in the country? I have already deposited the enrollment fee and initiated the Kroll process (received receipts from both stern and kroll and now can see myself in the students db)

But I understand there are other steps incl. registration, financial Aid package, Quant exam and Health related activities. Is my presence in country required to complete any of the tasks OR do I need anything from admission package that has been mailed (but I haven't seen it yet) to complete the formalities?

I have also sent en email to Admchair - (waiting for response.)

cheers and thanks for your help.

* Last year I had immunization and some other vaccines. I need to check with my Doc in ct, if the records meet the requirements.

WAITLISTED !!

Thank you again for applying to the NYU Stern Langone Part-time MBA program. After carefully considering your application, the Admissions Committee would like to offer you a place on the waitlist.

To those who have registered for classes:

- do you get an email response that says you are registered?
- How do you find out what core group you were accepted in?

I registered online friday

asharc-

I registered on Tuesday and I read somewhere that we'll receive a receipt in the next few weeks and that we should read it carefully as our assigned classes/core groups may be different from what we chose.

I didn't get a registration e-mail response. Go check out this to figure out which core group you are in:

Asharc,

I didn't get an email response, yet. I believe one will come down the road, but it may be a while. However, if you log into the student information system (https://ais.stern.nyu.edu/), you can take a look at your remaining requirements, which will show the classes you're registered for in the fall. From this, you should be able to guess at which core group you're in.

By the way, did you get a response from NYU about Kroll yet?

Thanks Tenore. I'll check it out. I haven't gotten a response back from Kroll yet....its actually pretty irritating. I'm hoping I get it by the end of the week.
