Also, one last question, sorry for asking in different threads. 😅
Is the work exp requirement same for the dual degree programs ( mainly MIT’s LGO)
Yes, they are looking for exposure to the different parts of business and being able to contribute to a group/peers with potentially 7-10 yrs experience. Maturity is really hard to determine from an application/interview, the only way they can see this is through your career progression.

Demographics (nationality, gender): Indian, Male

· Education (undergraduate institution, GPA, major - high school/entrance exams not needed): University of Delhi (Bachelors in Commerce) CGPA 7.29 [Ranked 1 university in India]

· Other coursework or post-undergraduate education: ACCA Member

· GMAT or GRE or EA score (include section breakdown): 750 (Q 51 | V 39 | IR 7 | AWA 4)

· Work experience (briefly highlight amount of work experience, industries, roles, promotions, special accomplishments, international exposure):
3 years & 2 months at KPMG Global Services (Position: Senior Executive) | Industry - Audit | International exposure - working in UK financial services market, focusing on insurance regulation, climate change scenarios and impact on insurance industry and Solvency II audits | special accomplishments - awarded encore award each year at the firm (not sure if this was the requirement to this)

· Extracurricular activities (briefly highlight notable undergraduate and post-undergraduate ones): Finance manager at Enactus (Social entrepreneurship club), teacher at UMEED NGO & volunteering at Sankalp Taru (NGO - working on planting trees to boost sustainability) - created carbon footprint calculator which calculates carbon emissions from e-commerce deliveries, food deliveries, home energy, cloud storage and air travel.

· Post-MBA goals: exploring other industries and departments - mainly looking for general management roles or financial advisory on climate change

· Target schools: London business school, INSEAD, HEC Paris, Warwick business school and Indian school of business. Not sure if this profile is good for USA B Schools.
Thanks for using this format - really helpful!
Your work WE and Academics/GMAT are strong and competitive for your school list - why not Judge and/or Cambridge? Warwick is really safe for you. Can be great profile for T10 MBA’s in US - CBS, NYU, Wharton, Booth, Cornell

Just concerned about the academic fee at US - do they give waivers on academic fee (atleast partially?)

What will be different in my application to Stanford, if I apply, from last cycle to this cycle?
Recommenders: Last time I had recommendations from direct supervisors from Citi and Pratham and no one to talk about my current work. This year, I will have a very strong recommendation from my business mentor for my current place of work and a strong recommendation from one of the cofounders at the nonprofit (previous place of work)
Change in Goals: changed from a nonprofit focus to consulting + healthcare this year
More Extracurricular activities (teaching math, mental health nonprofit, GMATClub moderator)
Learning Mandarin (basic level) and Spanish (intermediate)
Hopefully better quality essays
Thank you for an abundance of information - I’d love to talk offline - jenifert@aringo.com , but the long and short of it is that you will have an uphill battle with M7 schools being over 30. Not saying it is impossible, but it will take a very strong application to show why you need a full-time MBA and the thought of being recruited by MBB’s is a bit hard - they typically want younger hires as they are more willing to be agile and move/travel all the time. I’d recommend pitching a different short-term goal. and also applying to MSx and some 1 year programs.... again, let’s chat offline as it is very specific.

Should I consider reapplying to Stanford in R2?

You cannot reapply in the same admission cycle - so if you applied in R1 this year, you have to wait till the Fall 2023 application. If you were dinged in the Fall 2021 batch, then R2 can be a possibility.

Honestly most MBA programs award "merit scholarships" based on GMAT score - so the more you bring up their average GMAT score (further above you are), the better the odds for scholarship.

UCLA is a stretch, but again, a well written application can make the difference. Kenan-flagler is a go - right on target!
