Hey guys,

I have a little controversial question, if you have some insight on this topic I would greatly appreciate it.
I am Russian, I have done my bachelors in USA in some mid tier US college and currently doing a GMAT prep, once in a while I stumble upon schools whose website I can't access (IESE) from Russian IP which I believe implies that admissions from Russian students are not welcome. I am just curious if you met/know some Russian students who had actually got accepted into some MBA programs in EU/USA in in the past two years, that is in 2022/2023 or if they had issues with getting a visa (I know a case of guy who got accepted into one of the top schools in UK, but had to defer a year as his visa didnt come on time). I am just curious if there is some hidden(or open bias) or most schools are chill and don't care too much where you come from? I believe I have a pretty relevant background such as 8 years in IB in a relatively known UK firm/high GPA, CFA certification and so on, but I never thought that being a Russian might be an issue until recently. What do you think?

Mail the admissions team and get their perspective on this.
