1/3 left handed. So, 5 players are left handed and 10 are right handed.

Out of 10 players, 80% or 8 players are above 2 mtrs height.

Among left handed, 60% or 3 players are above 2 mtrs height.

So, total no of players above 2 mtrs height is 8+3=11.

11 should be the answer.

UMM... Bunuel is there a problem in the problem :-D

. If the condition in left handed players is changed to MORE from FEWER, then the answer will be 10. Based on current criteria the correct answer is 11

Share the same opinion as  14101992  and  LogicGuru1 . Answer should be 11.

80% of right handed, i.e. 8 and 60% of left handed, i.e 3, making total 8+3= 11 as the answer

Right = 10
2M High = 8
2M Fewer = 2

Total 2M High are 8 + 3 = 11

No answer choice matches my answer but answer must be 11

since it says that 40% are fewer than 2 m, the rest can be of exactly 2. If that is the case then answer will be 8.
so there is ambiguity in quest

In that case answer could be 8,9 or 10. If rest are exactly 2 or if one is over and two are exactly 2 or if two are over and one is exactly 2.

Apologies for pointing out a mistake in answer choices Number of left handed player = 5 number of left handed player whose height> 2m = 3 Number of right handed player = 10 number of right handed player whose height>2m = 8 Total number of players whose height>2m= 11 I think the answer should be 11 unless some player are ambidextrous which i wonder
