On Wednesday morning a fortune cookie machine ran continuously at a uniform rate to fill a production order. At what time did it completely fill the order that morning?

(1) The machine started at 6 a.m. and completed the order in 3 hours.
(2) The machine produces 200 units per hour.

(1) it simply gives time consumed by machine on a particular day
no info of no. of orders
insuff

(2) no info of starting time ..
insuff

combining we dont have info of the no. of orders to be completed on wednesday
insuff
Ans E

IMO stmt 1 is sufficient . We were asked to find the time to fill order and stmt1 is sufficient.

if statement 1 mentions "The machine started at 6 a.m. on same day/same no. of orders and completed the order in 3 hours"

then i will also mark Ans A

Hope you are right!!!!!! :)

It's A... cause the statement has already told us that the order will be completed in 3 hrs...
