Thank you. I will work on addicting some of these tomorrow. I was focusing on the top programs. I will check Canadian programs as well and Johnson’s 12-month program too and will add to the list. Thx

Hi BB,

Thank you for the Kudos. That was my first ever kudos and I am honored that it came from you :)

I have been researching 1 year MBA programs for a year now and I found this list very interesting.

https://www.aringo.com/mba-1y-one-year-programs/

Top 1-1.5 year MBA programs in the USA: (Not in the order of rankings)

1. Atkinson – Willamette (9-15 months)
2. Boston University (one year international MBA)
3. Cincinnati – Lindner
4. Columbia GSB (16 months)
5. Cook School of Business (St. Louis University) – 12 months
6. Fuqua – Duke (Accelerated Daytime MBA program for MiM grads)
7. Garvin – Thunderbird (11-16 months)
8. Goizueta (Emory University) (12 months)
9. Graziadio School of Business and Management (Pepperdine University) (12 months)
10. Hough (University of Florida) (12 months)
11. Johnson (Cornell University) (12 months)
12. Johnson Cornell Tech MBA (12 months)
13. Katz Graduate School of Business (University of Pittsburgh) (12 months)
14. Kellogg (Northwestern University) (12 months)
15. Kentucky – Gatton
16. Marshall (USC) (one year accelerated MBA for experienced professionals)
17. Mendoza (University of Notre Dame) (12 months)
18. University of Miami
19. Mississippi
20. MIT Sloan Fellows (1 year)
21. Moore School of Business (University of South Carolina) – 10 months
22. Neeley School of Business (Texas Christian University) – Full-time Accelerated MBA – 12 months
23. NYU Stern Tech MBA / Fashion & Luxury MBA (1 year)
24. Olin (Babson College) (12 months)
25. Rawls College of Business (Texas Tech University) – STEM MBA – 1 year
26. Simon (University of Rochester) (18 months)
27. Southern Methodist – Cox
28. St. Louis – Chaifetz
29. Terry (University of Georgia) (11 months)
30. Weatherhead (Case Western Reserve University) (11 months)
31. Foster School of Business (University of Washington) (Global executive MBA-12 months)
32. Warrington College of Business Administration (University of Florida) (10-12 months)

Note: the ones highlighted in bold are the ones that require a prior business undergraduate degree. Kellogs has a course requirement laid out that needs to be on your transcripts if you are a graduate from another field but almost most of the engineering programs dont offer these courses. I inquired at Ivey (London On) where I live and asked them if I can take those 4 courses so that I can meet the requirements for Kellogg 1 year program but they said that the schools dont let students who have already graduated take just 3-4 courses. Ivey instead asked me to enroll in their Executive MBA program

The following are the list of Outside USA 1 year MBA programs: (Not in the order of rankings)

1. AGSM (Australia – 16 months)
2. Bocconi (Italy – 12 months)
3. Cass Business School – City University London (England – 12 months)
4. CEIBS (China) – 12 or 18 months
5. Cranfield (England – 12 months)
6. EDHEC (France) – 10 months
7. EM LYON (France – 12 months)
8. Erasmus (Rotterdam – The Netherlands – 12 months)
9. ESADE (Spain – 12/15/18 months)
10. ESMT Berlin – 1 year
11. Grenoble (France – 21 months)
12. HEC – Montreal (Canada – 12 months)
13. HEC – Paris (France – 16 months)
14. HKUST (Hong Kong) – 12 or 16 months
15. INSEAD (France/Singapore – 10-12 months)
16. IE business school (Spain – 13 months)
17. IMD (Switzerland – 11 months)
18. ITESM (Mexico – 16 months)
19. Ivey (Western Ontario – Canada – 12 months)
20. Judge (Cambridge – England – 12 months)
21. Lancaster (England – 12 months)
22. Lisbon – 12 months
23. London Business School (England – 15-21 months)
24. Manchester (England – 12, 15 or 18 months)
25. Melbourne Business School (Australia – 1 year)
26. Queen’s (Canada – 12 months)
27. Saïd (Oxford – England – 12 months)
28. Sauder (British Columbia – Canada – 15 months)
29. Schulich (York – Canada –16-24 months)
30. SP Jain (Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney) – 1 year
31. Warwick (England – 12 months)

The ones highlighted in bold are Canadian programs.

Thank you

Thank you. I have added the Cornell Johnson One-year MBA. I feel others are a bit niche and low ranked (so I did not add them) but it is a good list from Aringo!

Hi !
What about the following from India?
1. IIMA PGPX
2. IIMB EPGP
3. IIMC PGPeX
4. SPJIMR PGPM

Since there are lot of Indian applicants I thought these might be useful to add in the list too.

Thank you. However from what I know, I don’t believe these are technically full time MBA programs but rather another type of a program that’s more of an EMBA or a Masters Program?

No they are full time residential one year MBA programs for professionals with more than 5 years of work experience. They are similar to the Kellogg one year MBA program but just worded differently. Maybe keeping in mind the Indian work scenario?

bb they have been very competitive considering Indian scenario but they do diversify. There are many 1 year full time programs now in India relatively more to what there were 5 years ago.
These programs are on top including ISB(ISB=IIMA=IIMC). IIMC has exchange included as well. SPJIMR by its format is exchange oriented.

You missed out IIM-Bangalore's 1-Year MBA Program. IIM Bangalore's One-Year MBA (EPGP) has taken the highest spot (#1) in India in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2020 and is among Top 30 MBA programs in the world.

Thank you for the suggestion.
I excluded all Executive, Part Time, Masters, and everything other than a Full Time MBA program.
I will clarify in the first topic.

Thank you for your response;

This is just to clarify that:

> IIMB-EPGP is a one-year Full Time MBA program.
> It's NOT an executive MBA
> Upon graduation, an MBA degree is provided
> It's listed in FT Global MBA rankings

The only issue is in the name which contains "executive" and is relevant to Indian context because 2 year MBA programs do not require any work experience in India.

Hope this helps add this program in the above list :)

Lol. Yes. I'm listing down important programs that are currently ranked in FT rankings:

FT Rank 27 - IIMB (https://www.iimb.ac.in/programmes/epgp?Ref=undefined)
FT Rank 42 - IIMC (https://www.iimcal.ac.in/programs/mba-f ... -programme)
FT Rank 61 - IIMA (https://www.iima.ac.in/web/pgpx)

Apart from these, ISB is ranked 28.

Hope this helps :)
