Hello to all this year Oxbridge applicants! Even though Oxford has not finalised the decisions for R4, the stages for 2010 admissions are already up. They seem to eliminate R4 and also moved the deadlines almost a month earlier – interesting. Cambridge have not changed their major admission schedule - they will have five rounds this year as well - but there is mentioning of introducing an online application system (similar to the Oxford one, I guess). Also, note that Cambridge did not give the deadlines for interview decisions - only the dates of the interview events. Good luck! That's odd. Last round I think the admits, waitlists, and dings all came on the same day. Thumbs up for you.

I am actually quite surprised that it only took them 3 weeks to make the decision. I was expecting 5 weeks like they said on the website. How long after the deadline did it take the adcom to send out the decision for R2 applicants?

Sharing the thread for Oxford and Cambridge makes it confusing sometimes a shock in half awaken state 'OMG, did they already start sending out interview invites!' Good luck to the Judge aspirants preparing for their interviews!!

Well, that would've left only 2-3 weeks for travel arrangements and preparation. R2 was released Dec 18th I think it was, so 3.5 weeks after deadline. 5 weeks would've been in the middle of christmas holidays.
