Glenn Hubbard on MBA Rankings Columbia’s Dean Glenn Hubbard on MBA Rankings - Dean's thoughts on MBA Rankings CBS Decision Procedure Mr.Matthew Moll, Associate Director(CBS) " Our goal is either to deny admission or invite for an interview or within six weeks of a completed application being received. Our goal for interviewed applicants is to render a final decision within two weeks of the interview report being completed. It is our goal that all reviews are within these timelines. I suggest that candidates reach out to us if their application is outside of the six week timeline, but before doing so they should check their application status page for their complete date . Regarding the interview, it is two weeks from when the interviewer has submitted the interview feedback, not the date of the interview, so applicants should keep that in mind as well. " Mr.Matthew Moll, Associate Director(CBS) " We will start reviewing Regular Decision applications once we complete the review of Early Decision. This usually happens in early December. Regular Decision applications that are submitted prior to the start of our review of Regular Decision will be placed in a queue and reviewed on a rolling basis once we start reviewing RD applications. I applied on the 6th and haven't heard anything. Considering that we applied on the last week of the fellowship deadline, I think you might be hearing from them at the end of this week and I might be having news until next week.

Columbia might be taking longer to give an answer to early jan applicants but they are still faster than most of the other programs, so I guess there's nothing to worry about.

Really varies but no more than 2 weeks. I got my acceptance at 2-week mark while I saw someone getting it the next day. Amanda said no way decision comes out after 14 days.

My interview and submitted feedback were the same day, on a holiday Monday.
I got the acceptance call the following Monday.
Definitely no more than 2 weeks, but could be one day, and could be 2 full weeks.

I applied before you did. Since they are following a rolling admissions process they must have dinged me if i wasn't interesting? Just trying to make an arm and a leg of this process.

Candidates do not send 'interview report' but the interviewer does. You will not know what your interviewer has written in the feedback after the interview unless the interviewer wishes to share with you (which I dont think is CBS' policy!). It might include details about the questions asked and your responses to those questions. Additionally, it might also include a metric of how likely is the interviewer going to recommend you for CBS etc. Again, no one but the interviewer and the adcom member who reads your file one final time before the final decision will know what was written in the feedback submitted.

Interesting, other schools I have applied I did not know when my interviewers sent their reports, that is why I found weird. But thanks again!!
