As were my essays . So I am stunned too .
I bet I could help you identify the problem.
I can do that too, it stares back at me everytime I look into the mirror. Legacy, context, and background sometimes unite to make possibility and ambition difficult, irrespective of what you put in. The path that you choose to follow looks like one you chose mistakenly. It's the struggle of our kind. Should have shaved off a couple of years on my 10th grade marksheet back when everyone was doing it. Should have studied harder for an IIT seat. But I cannot stop being who I am. I doubt a 2 time Booth reject is of any value to the Adcoms except discussion over popcorn. I have no such luxury and have to move on.
Congratulations to everyone who got a Booth invite. My gravity should not discourage you. Very carefully read about who may be interviewing you. Think out your adaptations in presentation based on that.
Cheers,
Old Dog
You are who you are, and you will find a place to fit who you are. I just got dined too. I have put PLENTY of effort into booth application and my stats are not even close to yours but remember one thing, it's not a specific program that will make you happier/successful in life, it's everything else probably, regardless of your career goals.
all the best!
