Hi Guys!
Sorry I'm late to the party. I discovered GMAT club only a few days back after I had turned in all my apps. Kinda a blessing in disguise because I would've freaked out seeing all the GMAT scores here.
Anyway, to answer some questions that are going around.
Target schools : HBS (dinged without interview), Sloan, Kellogg (interviewed), Tuck (interviewed), Booth(scheduled to interview) and Wharton
UG : BITS (9.2/10, not sure how that translates into a scale of 4)
Grad : UCLA (3.7/4)
GMAT : 730 (Q49 V40) - really not spectacular for this demographic.
WE : 54mo in a big semiconductor firm, worked in a few locations in the US and a short stint in Europe.
Extras : Non profit board member for the last years and I also founded a learning non-profit/discussion community in Boston. Played basketball for the university team.
I'm glad to have some invites/interviews but am hoping for a few more considering how competitive this demographic is.
I'm happy to share any other info, and hoping that you all get into schools of your choice!
Cheers
Congrats on the interview invites. I think now it is safe to say that your GMAT is good enough, since one of the biggest reasons Indian applicants need a higher GMAT is to get shortlisted for an interview. After that I'm sure what matters more is the interview performance.
Good luck for the rest of the season.
