Haha I hear you. I watched stranger things 2 for nine straight hours last night and I thought to myself - I dont remember having the spare time like this on weekends. Then I realized I have to submit Columbia by Monday.

So who's interviews are up?

I think this entire b-school app process is mentally the most exhausting thing I've ever been through.

Applied to Top 10 schools with a 710 with at-best-mediocre essays last year. Wasn't a bright idea to do that, but I was new to the whole process and naive. Got dinged everywhere!

Scored 760 on the GMAT this year. Have applied/in process of applying to schools in the Top 20 this year for R1, including UCLA, Stern, Wharton, Cornell and ISB.

Let's see what's in store. Really happy to have discovered this thread. Things are rather unfairly super-tough for Indians!

Rick and morty all seasons for few days, stranger things for 9 straight hours too. And now suddenly realised round 2 is back to haunt me. It was a painful and exhausting process. Gearing up for it again.

I was reading some older posts on the forum, and someone rightly pointed out - once you start with the MBA application process, your journey only really ends once you land your final job offer in 2nd year. (assuming you're lucky to get admission)
For Indian folks add the visa complications into the picture..

And no one really warns prospective applicants about the "indefinite waiting" involved.. my gosh, the waiting is hard..

I am planning a long trip in the last week of Dec. I will put my R2 apps and in and take off. Can't be bothered. The tough part is that if I don't make it to any of my schools, the trip will suck.

I have missed this thread all this while! Nevertheless.

I have about 6 years of tier-2 consulting experience, 760 and have applied to 'team' schools - Kellogg (interviewing next week), Tuck and Ross. No Duke for me - I'd be a re-applicant there and can't think of fresh list of 25 random things about me.

Applied to a bunch of schools last year with 710 and dinged at all (well, except HKUST).

Congrats on the Kellogg invite and all the best for Tuck and Ross. i am guessing you have not heard from Tuck yet.

It is going to be an anxious end of year.

I sincerely hope and believe that you’ll get something great. With invites from Booth and Sloan things are progressing in the right direction- right? Good luck ☘️

I’m feeling the heat from Yale too. And not to mention Sloan and Haas

Man I can’t bank on Sloan and Booth. Booth tends to interview tons of applicants and then ding them.

At this point, I have given up on Yale. Kellogg, I believe had a Mumbai problem this year for some reason and I hope that my app will impress them?

Who knows.

But the California schools man. They do take their time.
