Hi yanyas,

The potential explanation for this issue that you've heard about is interesting - and might be correct if there is a cross-platform issue between mba.com and Examity. Now that you're dealing with Customer Service on all ends, the cynical side of me thinks that all of this might become MORE frustrating - but I hope that everything is worked out soon. Once you've received an explanation/solution, you should post back here (as there are likely a number of people who are experiencing the same issue that you're facing).

rich - It is indeed frustrating and a waste of time, especially when one has other things to deal with(work and whatnot). However, examity's team have been very engaging and helpful till now and I'm hoping for the best. I will definitely update this post as soon as I get a resolution.

gmatknightDOTcom - I have raised a ticket with them but yet to hear back. I'm also waiting for my refund for the cancellation of my in-centre exam. Hopefully everything works out soon.

Just an update on this thread :
I succumbed to my restlessness and was pretty much trying to book any date I could get. I was finally able to book a date, though it is for a much later date then I would have liked it to be, using the same debit cards I was working with earlier. Looks like the slot selection could have been a probable issue. I still haven't received a solid explanation from either examity or GMAC and I'm not going to chase them any further now. Anyway, I guess the takeway here is - Book your date atleast 15 days prior to your exam to avoid any unnecessary headaches.

I am facing a similar issue and when I tried chatting with customer support team they told me that they only accept credit card. This is sad as I don't have one.

Okay guys so maybe I am not the only one facing this challenge. I need to give the exam on 9th November and I have been booking the exam on the portal for the past two days but they are unable to process the payment.

I have contacted Examity support team and hopefully I should be able to book a date.

I shall update the status as and when I receive updates.

I received the following comments from the Examity service team.
" We suggest you follow the below steps and try again to make a payment.

PAYMENT ISSUE:

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More. Settings.
3. Under "Privacy and security," click Site Settings.
4. Click Pop-ups and redirects.
5. At the top, turn the setting to Allowed.

Please follow the below steps to clear your browser cache and cookies data.
1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More.
3. Click More Tools to Clear browsing data.
4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All Time.
5. Next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files,” check the boxes.
6. Click Clear Data.

JAVA SCRIPT:

Please follow the below steps to activate JavaScript in your browser:

1. Open Chrome on your computer.
2. Click. Settings.
3. Click Security and Privacy.
4. Click Site Settings.
5. Click JavaScript.
6. Select Sites that can use Javascript.

Please restart your Chrome browser and try making the payment."

So to understand whether the system was the issue,I asked my wife to book an exam on my behalf from a different system and voila ! she was able to book one. :)

Hi Scott,

Yes I did get it resolved eventually.
