Well I wasn't expecting this! But could be interesting- honestly not sure you need an MBA for this- you need $$ to invest or influence to attract investors- I'd like to know the "Why" for this- certainly an MBA could help you better understand RE issues, management, motivation, financials...What do i expect from the MBA: With my experience i only have a partial skill for what it takes a good leader. I expect that MBA will provide me with the necessary knowledge so that the partial skills can be turned competent.
I want to do MBA in operations or general management and looking for fall 2017 intake.
Can you please suggest some decent universities where i have realistic chance of admission? Also, what can i do to make my profile better.
Take GRE if not GMAT, I would take Ross out with current GMAT, look at Purdue, Smeal, Iowa, George Washington U, Georgetown to name a few- I'd look in the 30-50 range and look at schools with high acceptance rates- and no that does not mean they can't be valuable to you- you also want strong entrepreneurship program and maybe even restaurant management program- Cornell's MBA has the hospitality management component. Also really think about how your story fits together- there must be a reason why you want to go from wind energy to food- which is not fully clear to me from this- so work on telling that authentic story and I bet it is a very interesting one! Good luck! I was targeting for Purdue, SMEAL and Ross, AGSM earlier. As i was targeting for a better but the relative low score ruined my plan.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Amulya
