Hello Experts,
Could you please evaluate my profile, I'am planning to apply for 2019 intake
My profile-
Nationality: Indian (24 yrs)
Current Job: Head of city growth for both supply and demand in a mobility startup (transportation)
Work Ex: 6 months (Business development in a pre-early stage startup); 2.5 yrs in a mobility startup (promoted from entry level to head of city growth)
Motivation for MBA: My long term aim is to become an entrepreneur. So I would like to move into a more strategy related role.
Education: Mechanical Engineering in VIT University (ABET accredited - GPA 8.4/10)
GMAT: 760 (Q50, V41, IR 7, AWA 4.5)
Target schools: INSEAD, IMD, ESADE, Sloan, IESE, Kellogg
Extra curricular -
Sports: Avid badminton player and represented school team.
Volunteering: Was part of one of the relief teams during massive floods in my city in 2016.
Few Queries:
1. Will the work ex be a problem when applying to INSEAD?
2. Will startup experience be a differentiating factor in the competitive pool of Indian applicants.
3. Is one year European MBA better or the 2 yr MBA programs in US?
4. Will there be a scope for scholarship in anyone of the above schools?
I welcome any other suggestions. Thanks in advance!
