Hi All, recd below mail from Ross Admissions today. Those waiting for interview invite definitely hold on. Can the R1 admitted candidates point out the deadline for a fee deposit. I think that would be consideration for interview invites too, based on seats confirmed at Ross.
Good luck to all !
" Round 1 Candidate,
Thank you for accepting our offer to be on the waitlist for the Ross class of 2019. We've had another extraordinarily competitive applicant pool this cycle. There just aren't enough spots in the class for all the smart and talented people who applied. You should know that if you're on the waitlist, that means we think you're a competitive candidate who we might potentially admit. The difference between an offer of admission and a waitlist decision is often quite small.
We understand that it's hard to wait, but unfortunately, we can't tell you your outcome until we hear back from the people we've already admitted and review the rest of this cycle's applicants. If you have not been invited for an interview yet, we will again review your application in the Round 2 cycle and possibly invite you for an interview. If you already interviewed in Round 1, your application will be re-evaluated for admission in the Round 2 cycle. Any changes to your status will be updated on 3/17/17.
In the meantime, please know that you can reach out to me directly with any significant changes to your application. The most influential update you can make to improve your candidacy at this point is to improve your GMAT/GRE score. You can email an unofficial score report at any time to
rossadmissions@umich.edu. You may also find these FAQ's about the waitlist process helpful. "
