I'm planning to apply for B-schools later this year or likely next year and started some research. Can you guys share your opinion on why one should choose LBS? Are there any good student clubs beside brand name or any other reasons?

According to me, LBS differentiates itself with the diverse and mature class profile. Students represented more than 72 countries in last year's class. Also, the average work experience is nearly 6 years (more mature). Besides the diversity of class, London is one the most Cosmopolitan cities of the world and has the presence of major tier-1 firms, thus networking and job opportunities are also a strong element.
In regards to clubs, kindly visit LBS website and research according to your interest area.

Value proposition would be different for every person. Some would value the cohort, some may be location, other may be rankings or the network...Best would be ask yourself what "you" expect or want from your MBA? What are your goals? What kind of a program would make sense to your personality and goals? And get back and see if LBS makes sense...
