Hii i am about to begin my gmat journey.... earlier i have seen that on gmatclub there was author search filter , now it has been removed and there are only unrecognized authors showing and i am not able to find recognized author like manhattan gmatexpert and gmatclub.. what should I do? should i practice from those unrecognized author or not ?

@Tanbeen - aren’t both B and C greater than D? Plugging -0.5 into D gets you zero, because (1-1)/x = 0/anything =0. Plugging -0.5 into C gets you positive 1.25. Plugging -0.5 into B get’s you positive 1.5. So the answer is B?

Sorry - I meant A* and C, not B and C.

D can be resolved with some basic number sense

No. B subtracts from 1. and since x^2 and -1/x are both positive, recall that for any positive fraction x^2<x<1/x
