apply the concept of avg speed:
3*60*60*120/(3600+7200+7200) = 3*6*6*120/(36+144) = 6*120/(2+8) = 72

Hi, so a consistent approach to this question is to simply use the R*T=D formula, as we dont know the distance lets give it the variable d, to get the time we divide the distance by the rate, so d/60+d/120+d/60= 5D/120 as the total distance is 3*D you can set up the formula 3D/ 5D/120. this gets you to 360D/5D which is 72!

hi! does anyone have the explanation of this one?
my answer is 4th

3p/2 - Derived from 1.5 x p

2 cups of peeled apples = 1 pound, so 3 cups of peeled apples = 1.5 pounds. per pound 1 dollar. so 1 x 1.5 = 1.5 dollars to make one pie. so 15p/10 further simplification makes it 3p/2

Hope it helps

Hi, I see that in the GMAT club math book, there’s a geometric sequence explanation in the ’Sequence’ chapter.

But I’ve only encountered arithmetic sequence in all of the OG questions and mock exams I’ve done.

Is geometric & harmonic sequence tested in the GMAT Focus, or is it only the arithmetic sequence?
