In this question, how do we deal with the logic of the fact that it is possible that a friend did not buy any chocolate? Usually the question stem states that everyone purchased something
If "at least one person" or something similar isn’t explicitly stated, always assume that 0 is also an option. It will always be stated in the question stem. Also, in this question, we do not need to think about a 0, i.e., there is someone who didn’t purchase any fudge.
Statement 1 - (6 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 16) /// (3 + 3.1 + 3.2 + 3.3 + 3.4 = 16)....NOT SUFFICIENT
Statement 2 - (12 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 16) /// (4 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 16)....NOT SUFFICIENT
Basically, in this question, it doesn’t even matter if “at least some fudge per person” is mentioned or not.
