F+r+70=225
So s-70=60
Ie s=130

8/men+12/boy=1/12
10/men+3/boy=1/16
12/men + 18/boy =?

32/men=4/16-1/12
32/men = 3/12-1/12=1/6
1/men=1/192
1/24+12/boy = 1/12
12/boy=1/24
1/boy=1/288

12/men+18/boy=?
12/192 + 18/288 = 18/144 =1/8

Which means they complete in 8 days. A)

8M 12B 1 work in 12 days
10M 3B 1 work in 16 days

from these 2 > find the relative work rate
m as 1 man rate, b as 1 boy rate
8(12m) + 12(12b) = 1
10(16m) + 3(16b) = 1
=> 96m + 144b = 160m + 48b
=> 2m = 3b (2 men’s rate is equivalent to 3boys)

so if we convert first one, there are total 12 + 12 = 24 boys’ work

to answer 12 men and 18 boys’s rate would be equivalent of 18 + 18 = 36 boys work

so 24/(1/12) = 36/(1/x)
solving this, we get x=8
