Last commision =5c-c*6/5*4 assuming c as the average commission gained from all 5 sales
= c/5

Which is ((c/5)/5c )*100 %
Ie 4%

Of the total commisions

(A) 20%

Average of first 4 cars = 1.2x
Commission from first 4 cars = 4.8x

Average of all 5 cars = x
Total commission = 5x

Commission from 5th car alone = 5x - 4.8x = 0.2x

So, 0.2x/5x = 4.

number of subjects on which exams were conducted.
(A) 9

2 hrs 30 mins for the city A and B question

If Alonso began driving at 8 AM at speed of 90 kmph, he will cover 90 X 1.5 = 135 kms.
Distance left = 610 -135 = 475 kms

now, Ryan begin driving from B to A at speed of 100kmph

Distance = 475 km
Speed = 100 + 90 ( since both of them are driving towards each other)

Time = Distance / speed
= 475 / 190 = 2.5 hrs
