As a first time poster, I want to start off by thanking everyone involved with this website. I’ve been casually researching GMAT related topics for several months, and this is by far my favorite message board.
I plan on taking the GMAT approximately 1 year from today. With time on my side, I was wondering if I could begin “sharpening the saw” so to speak. Are there any proven preparation techniques or exercises I could begin performing today? I’m talking 20-30 minutes each day. What is the best way I could prepare myself going into the months of test preparation (diagnostic testing - weakness identification – study plan)?
To improve my reading comprehension, I’ve built a great habit of reading a challenging book every 1-2 weeks. I’m enrolling in a transcendental meditation class next month; this could help cope with the stress. And of course, physical preparation cannot be overlooked; regular exercise, healthy diet, ext. I’m not sure what I could be doing now to help me with the Quant.
Any suggestions?
