Hi shrushona,

Thanks for your message.

I completely understand your desire to do an MBA and achieve a functional shift in your career. I feel that your goal is realistic but the timing is too soon. Although I still strongly recommend more work experience, these options may help you pursue your passion for Marketing sooner.

1. You can make a career switch into a role that will allow you to gain the fundamentals of Marketing. It may be a more entry level role, however, you will be doing something that you are passionate about :-D
2. Find an unpaid or pro-Bono opportunity during evenings/weekends that will allow you to step foot into the Marketing arena and gain concrete experience, in parallel with your current role
3. You can take a big risk and apply to the 15-20 programs with your "best foot" forward. See where it leads you.

I hope this helps you. If you would like to further speak directly with our consultants who are former admissions committee members or our recent admits at any point, please visit https://macapproved.com/free-evaluation/

Best wishes,
Sue and the MAC Team
