Hi,

You have a decent profile. Your academics and overall profile is good but your GMAT Score is on lower side. But, a good GMAT Score can certainly improve your chances of getting admission in the list of B-Schools you have mentioned. You my also gauge your chances of getting admission in top B-Schools by trying Your Chances for B-School tool https://bit.ly/1rRCod5

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

Hi, Thanks everyone for our replies.

Question how does can I leverage my grad school GPA to at least offset my academics from undergrad. Since some of the courses were with MBA students in Core Finance, Strategy and Corporate Finance and Investment Banking (required core and advanced electives for MBA students). Can I highlight this in an optional essay to cover up for some of the academic deficiencies.

Hmmmm. Well it helps a bit, but without a really solid GMAT its not gonna help that much.

Hate to be late to the party but Jon's right - while a grad GPA can definitely help alleviate some of the concerns regarding academic performance, it will NEVER fully offset your UG or GMAT. The unfortunate fact is you have a pretty interesting profile but that GMAT will sink your chances. But if you can crush the GMAT and have a solid grad GPA to boot, I think the adcom would be much more understanding of your undergrad performance!

Hi YashThakar,

Yes, definitely you can highlight this in your optional essay. But as mentioned above having a good GMAT Score will surely improve your chances of getting admit in Business Schools you have mentioned above.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
