Objective for MBA: Continue to develop my business skills with the focus on supply chain management, strategy, and marketing. Want to work as a business development professional in the tech industry.
Profile: Taiwanese Male 28 years old with extensive living aboard background. Grew up and lived in various continents/countries – Africa, Middle East, US, China, Taiwan, etc. Studied in International Schools.
Education:
University of Washington Economics and minor in international studies, GPA 3.59, multiple deans lists.
GMAT Score: 720, V38, Q 50, IR 6, AWA 5.5
Professional working experience:
Worked at fortune 500 Paper & Pulp Company based in China for the past 4 years. Specialized in international sales & supply chain management. Took on managerial roles and helped set up the export department of a multi-billion green field start up. Was also in charge of jump starting the export sales there. Recently changed job to work as a project manager in a start up company in the steel industry. The change was because I wanted to work in a small company where I can get to interact with more functions. Also, paper & steel industries are quite similar in its business model so the learning curve isn’t that steep.

Extracurricular Activities:
For mandatory military service, which is required in Taiwan, I did a substitute military service by teaching English in a junior high school in the rural area (similar to Teach for America) for 14 months.
