AashishGautamOn the surface, ISB and Rotman look like converts. I think there would be tremendous scope for leadership storytelling, given the variety of experiences and ECs. But I will share ideas on what can help you elevate your profile to more competitive schools.
1. You have worked on the business side of things, which gives you an edge and establishes you as a self-starter.
2. Show a keen observation of the business environment in the industry you worked in through insights in your essays and (maybe) identify problem areas you would want to work on post-MBA. If consulting is your goal, make the school think you would be an excellent fit for someone looking to get into Corp strategy roles at one of the big Auto Companies (leverage your industry insights in the essays).
3. There is much room for improvement on GMAT, especially for the M7s.
4. Back your application with solid LORs, insights from connecting with alums and industry experts, thorough research on schools, and a solid transition plan to your post-MBA goals.
Feel free to connect should you need professional guidance
Best wishes
