Dear
AashishGautam,
Hope you are doing well.
Below is an evaluation of your profile from our side:
GMAT: Low as far as M7 is concerned, borderline for INSEAD, and decent for both ISB and Rotman
Education: Average; tier 2 & 7.8 CGPA is not a great combo as far as M7 is concerned.
Work Experience: Length of experience of 4.5 years is a sweet spot for most schools. However, INSEAD expects international work experience in almost every candidate. From your comments, it seems your experience is localized. This will dampen your chances for INSEAD. In case the organizations you have been involved with serve global markets/are involved in exports of finished products and you have been associated with international sales, bring that across in your application.
ISB and Rotman both would want to gauge the impact you have been able to create in your roles and the leadership traits you have developed through them. So, make sure to highlight them through relevant stories in your application. Try to demonstrate subject matter expertise in the auto industry and especially around latent trends, which are not obvious to an outsider.
Overall, I feel that with an impactful application your chances of getting shortlists from ISB and Rotman would be pretty decent. M7 and INSEAD would still be on the challenging side.
I am an ISB alum and have been guiding applicants get into global business schools for the last 6 years. Feel free to reach out to me in case you seek professional guidance.
Cheers and all the best!
