davis98,
Your GMAT score, explanation for your undergrad GPA, and alternate transcript largely offset the low GPA. Your Afghanistan and rugby experiences sound like they would be key stories to differentiate you from other applicants. Given your goals, you could target schools like Duke, UVA Darden, UCLA, Michigan, Cornell, and UNC on one end and perhaps choose from among schools like Booth, Columbia etc. on the other end. Feel free to send me your resume for a closer look:

Hi Everybody,
I'd like to have the community review my profile and propose appropriate target schools. Any feedback would be much appreciated!
English 28 M
GMAT: 750
Education: BA in Economics, GPA 2.5 (Last 60 hrs 3.0) SEC School (USA) Multiple Fs.
Work Experience:
1 year straight out of college working for a defense contractor in Afghanistan as a project finance analyst. (1 promotion during the year)
2.5 years working for a global custody bank starting in financial reporting and later moving into a junior relationship managment role. (1 promotion)
2 awards (1 team, 1 individual) during my time in banking.
Extracurriculars:
2 years of professional rugby in Europe before university.
During college: club rugby team, VP & Treasurer for rugby team. Habitat for humanity. Worked 30hrs/wk for the defense contractor that I was hired by out of college.
Post college: local youth charity trustee, childrens rugby team coach, Ironman competitor, Arts & Culture Network board member (work organization).
Career Goals: Develop strategy knwoledge and finance skills and transition into a corporate strategy/finance role within a F500 company, before hopefully rolling off into entrepreneurship later on.
GPA Mitigation: No drama, simply didnt realize the value of education at that point in my life and focused too much on rugby, work and other ECs. I am the first in my family to graduate from high school and simply wasn't prepared for college. I have an alternate transcript of 5 courses of a quantative nature all with As.
Many thanks for your time!
