Hi All,
I am an Indian female applicant with a GMAT score of 660. I need some assistance in short-listing colleges and other application related decisions in accordance with my profile.
10th grade:91%
12th grade:80%
Under-graduation: Computer Science Engineering from non IIT college with a CGPA of 7.9
Work Experience: I am working in the IT division of CenturyLink (Telecommunications) for 2 years now with the designation of Software Engineer.
I was overly active in club activities in college. I have had a lot of experience in organizing events and college fests. I was the President of a club in my college.
I have had many but short term experiences in Community Service, like teaching the outreach children basics of english and maths, SUPW etc in school, organizing clothes collection drive for the families in the slum area close to my college, blood donation drives etc.
Considering my not-so strong profile in terms of work experience and score, I am not looking for a very high ranked college. I would prefer a lower ranked college if it is easier to get scholarships(full or major coverage) there.
Any insight/suggestions are appreciated.

You could investigate schools in the US News rankings from 15-30 in my view for the best shot at post MBA opportunity. Look at Babson, Kelley, and UT Austin.

I took the GRE as most of the business schools accept it & scored 300 (146V 154Q, 3.0AWA).
B.E Mechanical Engineer for reputed private institution in Karnataka
Undergrad GPA: 71% (VTU)
10th: 82.2%
12th: 68%
Work Experience: 4+ years in India's largest steel producing company. Worked for setting up of 2.3 MT cold rolling complex.
Attended on job training to get technical know how in World's best steel producing firm at JAPAN
• Responsible for implementing SAP interfaced manufacturing execution systems (MES) throughout cold rolling mill complex in software support with JSoft Solutions.
• Solely responsible for inventory management of critical line spares & operational consumables like rust preventive oils, chemicals, tools & tackles etc.
• Execution and maintenance of SAP, MIS reports and daily production reports.
• Drafting & Implementation of process development documents such as control plans, FMEA/PFMEA charts, standard operating procedures and work instructions as per ISO/TS 16949 for automotive steel for effective plant operation & operator safety.
• As an internal auditor, responsible for implementation of ISO/TS 16949 for the automotive steel across department ensuring development of a quality management system that provides for continual improvement, emphasizing defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.
• Execution and maintenance of SAP, MIS reports and daily production reports.
• Responsible for contract reviews, issuing of annual maintenance contracts & final acceptance certificate to the process suppliers.
• Responsible for interfacing L1/L2 Automation (TMEIC, Japan) with L3 systems (JSoft Solution, India).
• Continuous interaction with technology assistance provider and process supplier for technical know-how and process improvement.
• Developing & Presenting technical papers and project related presentations with emphasis on subordinate development.
• Implementing 5S Housekeeping across plant. Auditing field contractor safety as per DuPont norms & educating field workers upon safety while working.
Recognition & Certifications:
• Integrated training at JFE Steel Corporation, Fukuyama Works, Japan on Technical know-how on operational philosophy of continuous annealing lines
• 6 Hi Skin Pass Mill Shape Meter System training at ABB Workshop, Mishima, Japan

Graduate Engineer Trainees
• Represented state of Karnataka in National Squash championship.
I do not aspire to get into the top league as i know my scores/profile do not match to those.However, m interested in moderately ranked universities willing to provide scholarships.
Very confused regarding selection of schools.I am quite sure that a retake would not be much beneficial to me so have decided to apply with same score.
