Hello Dear Experts – A sincere request if you can please find time to evaluate my profile for the target course (mentioned in the description below). I also invite suggestions as to which school should I target additionally (1 Year Full Time MBA – preferably Europe or US only)
1) Brief description of full-time work experience. What do I do?
Overall Experience 11.5 Years in IBM, TCS, SAP, Capgemini and Accenture
Currently leading a team of 35 consultants. Primary experience in IT project management, though worked with SAP in Research for 3 years as well.
Manage budget of $2 million and influence a budget of $20 million. Fairly traveled the world – most of Western Europe, South East Asia, North America and India of course. Since I am the same old typical - Indian-IT-Male . .
I help Financial Services industry clients in identifying innovation opportunities to drive their technology agenda and support business strategy. Delivered large IT transformational programs across geographies and sectors successfully.
Worked with senior leadership very closely and understand leadership and communication styles and various nuances of resources (IT, human, knowledge) management.
2) My GMAT score (first attempt GMAT score was 650 in 2008 – which I think I should not mention in my apps since it is more than 5 years old). My second and most recent GMAT score (with hardly 1.5 months of preparation) is as below:
700 (89%), Q49(79%), V35(76%), IR6(67%), AWA5.0
3) College info: National Institute of Technology (NIT), INDIA, Bachelor in Technology major in Computer Science and Engineering. %age 73% (first class), Year of Grad - 2003.
4) Extracurricular -> Associated with NGO for last 4 years in fund raising and in advisory roles. Speaker at Global Technology event in 2007, numerous professional certifications, certified trainer in current organization for Leadership and Change Management Trainings. Last 7 Years in Project Management, last 2 years in mid-leadership role. Various awards and certificates in fund raising for charity, university event organizing, organization certified trainer, quiz competition winner et. al. Applied for patent long time back – which got rejected due to budgetary constraints. I have some documentation to support this.
5) Industry Certifications ->ITIL Certification. As an added extra - generally I write my own Android applications to use and manage my work. Though one of the app is available on google playstore for free download (more than 2000 downloads so far).
6) Target Program -> INSEAD-MBA, HEC-MBA, MIT-SDM (all full time 1 year resident courses). Evaluating Said, Judge & Imperial schools (invite suggestion on these as well – which one should I target)
7) Target Rounds ->INSEAD-R1(2016Sep), HEC-R1(2016 Sep), MIT R1(2016Sep)
8) Post MBA Goal ->To move into technology consulting in short term and strategic consulting in long term with top consulting firm

I’d consider INSEAD a very high reach, given (as you note) your status in an over-represented group that typically presents high stats. IMD would be a reasonable reach, in my view. Ditto HEC (though it would be closer to on-par). MIT SDM would be a good fit and you’d be a viable, perhaps even strong, candidate.
In your applications be sure to delve deeply into the insights and perspective gained from your extensive experience, including (especially) the global aspect. This will be one way to differentiate and distinguish yourself among applicants in your industry/demographic groups.
