While the BITS pedigree does add weight, consider addressing your GPA in the optional essay, by providing any justification for the drop e.g. was it low during certain semesters, were you involved in extracurriculars or were there any personal reasons, etc.
The strength of the work experience (key achievements, projects, career progression etc.) can also help offset the academics to an extent, so I'd like to understand your professional arc better to comment.
Also make sure to bring out your analytical and verbal abilities (in your professional experience, for instance) through the essays and interviews.
