Well - at this point, if you're applying this year, there isn't much time to improve other aspects that have some inertia. But, if you're looking ahead at either a contingency plan for next year or just to get your bearings before you start, you could start registering for some extra coursework. Maybe some UCLA Extension or something. Maybe something you didn't do too well in during college or you didn't take at all? Econ, Stats, Calc, etc. Even just registering for one shows dedication and could move the needle a little bit.
