I am thinking of applying to Kellogg, Haas, NYU stern. (For round 2 2016 intake)
Profile:Indian female
Undergrad GPA:3.5
Post grad GPA: 3.7
Extracurriculars: professional dancing 3 years
work ex 2 years research work in Biotech. Community service 1 year (volunteered)
Gmat 700
For the work ex: During my masters (from HPU: It comes under Jawaharlal Nehru University; After clearing the All India Entrance Test for which I was awarded scholarship) I did a research project for a year, completely novel work, never been done before in my country. I did not get project results for almost 9 months (faced multiple failures through various approaches) and still stuck to the project.I designed and managed the project independently.Right now doing another research project from a reputed research institute. Working as a Project assistant.
During college I was a professional dancer at the leading contemporary dance institute in India. (promoted after clearing auditions). Organised the Biochemistry fest in 2nd and third year and won the best speaker both the times. Was head of cultural committee during my Masters. Headed all functions of the hostel/department. I also qualified both UGC-NET and GATE. Highly competitive entrances for getting project assistantships.
Currently I'm working at Teach India in their English for English for employability program. I teach spoken English to a group of 25 students using innovative techniques different from the conventional classroom techniques. The purpose of the course is to teach them English and prepare them for jobs. After 3 months they compete for a job at the job fair.

While your professional achievements sound novel, even noble, I don't think the adcoms at your target schools will look favorably on the amount of post undergraduate experience you have compared to the applicant pool. Without knowing your full plan including your post MBA vision, it is difficult to see how what you have done is weaving together in a symbiotic way.
