I would appreciate if you can evaluate my profile and provide your feedback. I would like to apply for FT MBA programs in US B schools for the fall 2017 session. Post MBA I would like to work in consulting industry and do IT strategy consulting. My target schools are - MIT Sloan, Duke Fuqua, Dartmouth Tuck, CMU Tepper, Emory Goizueta, McCombs
Undergrad: Bachelor in Engineering (Computer Science)
Nationality: India
Gender: Male
Work Ex: - 9.5 years which includes 4.5 years of international work ex in UK
GMAT - 730(Q 50 V 39 IR 5 AWA 6)
Work Exp Summary: Worked for one of largest IT services company for 8.5 years mainly in client facing roles. 4.5 years in UK in banking, financial services and logistics domains. I was the only person from my organization at the client site for 2 years responsible for test management and governance. Established the testing process at the client site. Managed a team of 8 resources from onshore. Worked with senior management on a RFP to successfully win the project for the organization. Currently working in one of the largest investment banking firm in the program management and governance team as a QA manager.
Primary skill attributes - Client facing roles for clients in multiple domains, stakeholder management, international work experience, core team member for some of the largest IT transformation programs, leadership experience
Extracurricular Activities:
- Successfully completed multiple half marathons and 10k runs
- Certified club pilot in paragliding
- Completed level 1 in Spanish
- Volunteering experience for NGOs through CSR initiatives
