BA LLB (Hons)- NLU Delhi
Extra curricular- won a national level moot court competition
3rd in an international one
Participated in sports throughout school and college
Convener - library committee

Work ex- 3 + years of litigation under a senior lawyer
Have argued , researched on, drafted, advised on matters pertaining to real estate laws, service jurisprudence (disciplonary inquiries, prpnotions etc), arbitration proceedings, having extensively dealt with private clieJnts literally everyday for the past 3 years

Gmat -740 q50 v40 awa5
(I can give the gmat again and im sure to get a higher score since my gmat didnt go as well as expected, /but i dont see the point in it because the score is decent anyways -- however, im also trying to offset the low gpa with a high gmat and im only going for the canadian schools amd not american ones)

Trying to get into consultancy and strategy field-

Other target schools-
HEC montreal
Sauder(reach)
John molson, concordia
Telfer, ottawa
Haskayne (U of calgary)
U of Saskatchewan (edwards)

Hi,

Congratulations on a good GMAT score. I agree that you don't need to attempt GMAT agaiin.. Its a good enough score to get you in anywhere in the world atleast on the GMAT aspect.

Litigation experience also will be a differentiator as it is not the most common profile. NLU background and extra curriculars also look good.

However where I get stuck is why would you want to pursue an MBA. So the challenge in my opinion is going to be in weaving a story around why an MBA fits well into your career aspirations.

I can only agree with the others: no need for a retake, what you need to do is convince the adcoms of why law and then this new career change, meaning how it all is connected, as well as why their specific school can help you get there. If you feel that’s hard to do on your own, don’t be scared to ask for professional assistance, as that can really make a huge difference!
